What this test is
The test measures ALP in blood. Higher values may follow impaired bile flow, bone disease or increased bone turnover, and are interpreted with GGT and your medication history.

ALP is an enzyme found in bile ducts, bone, intestine and placenta. Elevated values point to bile duct obstruction or bone conditions.
