5-disease screening
Screening for the five disease groups commonly used in employment health checks. The clinic assesses them through medical examination, health history and the tests that correspond to each group.
What is checked
- Medical examination and history by a doctor, to assess other chronic, serious or symptomatic conditions that could affect work
- Chest X-ray to screen for infectious-stage tuberculosis
- Urine drug screening for disease resulting from substance abuse
- Liver function and related enzymes, supporting assessment of chronic alcohol-related disease
- Assessment of elephantiasis with obvious symptoms through examination and health history
- Additional items required by the employer, such as hepatitis B, syphilis, hearing or vision
Preparation and documents
- No fasting is needed for the chest X-ray or physical examination
- If blood tests are included, fast for 8-10 hours beforehand
- Tell our staff immediately if you are or may be pregnant, before any X-ray
- Bring your ID card and any organisation forms to registration
Timing and results
Examination and most lab results are ready the same day. If confirmatory testing is required, our staff will confirm the collection date clearly.
